Civic Center Parking Lot Safety/Security

Annual Help the Hooch Community Clean-Up

Residents of Columbus, Fort Benning, and Phenix City are invited to participate in the 28th annual Help the Hooch clean up on Saturday, October 1st from 8:30 am to 11:30am. Help the Hooch is the Southeasts largest river clean-up, with approximately 10,000 volunteers each year.

River Center Parking Garage Temporarily Closed

Yard Waste Collection

As of August 1, 2022, the City of Columbus's Public Works Department is no longer rotating CONTAINERIZED YARD WASTE collection routes. All citizens who receive waste collection services from the City of Columbus should now be receiving CONTAINERIZED YARD WASTE collection on a weekly basis.

Uptown Market Days on Broadway Has Gone to the Dogs!

Each Saturday, four blocks along Broadway, guests can visit over 200 local and regional vendors. Here they can find fresh and organic produce, home goods, jewelry, unique crafts, and delicious baked goods. On Saturday, August 6th, Uptown turns into "Puptown" as visitors can also find adoptable dogs, courtesy of Columbus Animal Care U Control!
